YOU CAN’T GO BACK was a simple game that I created to gear up for the Ludum Dare 48 hour game competition. It was supposed to be a random murder mystery game à la Clue. What really happened, though, was that I spent four days trying to figure out how to make a wrapping text box, and then two days making a (very simple) game that employed that text box. This isn’t really much of a game, but a brute force usage of one feature I was very excited to figure out how to do (the wrapping text box has always intimidated me).
It is funny that my actual game for Ludum Dare, Into the Dark for You, employed no text boxes, and in fact had very little text overall.
I have a written a brief post about YOU CAN’T GO BACK.
